![]() ![]() View products that this article applies to. ![]() Network connection icons are missing from the Network Connections folder in Windows XP The problem i have is that to my knowlege i haven't installed any hotfix nor do i know what a hotfix is, and it says if this is not exactly the problem you are experiencing then you shouldn't install this hot fix. Seems easy enough, the problem i'm having is i think it's saying that you can only have this problem if you've installed the hotfix829652 and if that's the case then you need this new hotfix 894543 to fix the problem. ![]() ![]() i can connect to the internet at my house, which is where I last used the connection before I had this problem, but it doesn't recognize new connections in a different wireless area. My wireless icon is missing in the system tray and all of the icons in the Connections after the start button are ALL MISSING.
